This week's offensive player, Francis Piché, compiled a record of seven (7) goals and three (3) assists for ten (10) points in three (3) games, including two three-goal games, four (4) power-play goals, one (1) winning goal and a differential of +4. During the last week, the right winger began the week by scoring three goals in the Panthères’ season home opener Wednesday September 9th in a 6-4 victory over Laval. Two days later, he registered another three-goal game while also adding two (2) assists in a 8-2 win in Sainte-Agathe while Sunday, he recorded a goal and an assist in a 9-6 win in Terrebonne. So far this season, Francis Piché leads the league in scoring with a record of 7 goals, 3 assists and 10 points in 4 games. In the voting, he beat out teammate, center, Ilya Silk and right winger Marc-André Julien from Laval.
Defensively, the honor went to defenseman Félix-Antoine Poulin of Le Collège Français de Longueuil. The 19-year-old defenseman played in only one game in which he has recorded three (3) assists and a differential of +3. So far this season, Poulin has compiled a record of 1 goal, 4 assists and 5 points in 3 games. In the voting, he beat out defensemen Spiro Goulakos of Saint-Jérôme and Marc-Antoine Dupuis of Princeville.
