The Otters headed down the highway for their 3rd game in 4 nights vs. Bramalea at the Powerade Centre. The Otters were dominant in the game outshooting the Blues 49 to 30. The Blues got on the board first and led 2-0 heading into the first period. The Otters started the second strong with goals by Tyler Crawford, Dan Barnett and Sean Poitras. The Blues tied it and sent it at 3-3 to the third period. Ron George scored halfway through the 3rd period but the Blues again tied it sending the game to a shootout. The Otters were the only team successful in scoring in the shootout as Phil Moreau was able to score and give the Otters their first win of the season. The Otters are next in action during the College Showcase in Oakville, Saturday vs. Trenton and Sunday vs. Milton.
